Viljandi Aquatics Center

As the latest annex to an already oversaturated sporting complex finds its own angle and face as a contextual competion to the block, filling in the void with a simplistic warped rectangular hall. The roof of the building is used to organize and accentuate the large span single space into more intimate spaces. The facade along the perimeter is reacting to the scale of the neighbouring buildings and potential new public spaces in this small rural settlement.

The awarded project was competition entry with Karli Luik.
